Hello again!
I know, I know, it’s been a while. But the new season is back and over at arseblog I’ve taken a look at the opening game and the new shape we employed against Nottingham Forest.
You can find the piece here: https://arseblog.com/2023/08/tactics-column-3-1-6-is-the-new-4-3-3/
Fun little thing I found: Arsenal had more touches (902) on Saturday than in any Premier League game last season.
As for the newsletter, I’ll be back on Saturday with something on the role Jurriën Timber played and why I struggle to see us playing like we did on Saturday too often without him.
Until then!
